Dr. David Oyedepo
Born September 27, 1954, in Osogbo, Nigeria, Bishop David Oyedepo studied Architecture at Kwara State Polytechnic and holds a PhD in Human Development from Honolulu University, Hawaii.
He received an 18-hour divine vision in May 1981, commissioning him to liberate people through the preaching of the Word of Faith. This led to the founding of Living Faith Church Worldwide (originally Liberation Faith Hour Ministries).
Married to Florence Abiola Akano (now Faith Oyedepo), they have four children: David Jr., Isaac, Love, and Joy. Their sons were ordained as pastors in May 2007 by Kenneth Copeland.
